BRCCH Professor of Computational Medical Genomics ETH Zurich
Prof Dr Na Cai investigates the genetic basis of neuropsychiatric diseases, particularly Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Together with her research group, she develops new computational and quantitative methods to assess the risk of developing MDD based on genetic variation, either directly or in conjunction with physiological and external stimuli.
Prof Dr Ece Özken Elsen develops computational models to support clinicians in the diagnosis and management of paediatric diseases. Specifically, she integrates medical images and clinical data whils tackling the main challenges affecting the performance of machine learning models to create healthcare solutions for children and adolescents.

Prof Dr Daniel Baumhoer is the BRCCH-affiliated Professor in Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology. He is also a consultant pathologist with special expertise in bone and soft tissue, as well as head and neck pathology.
