Prof Katrien De Bock is Head of the Department of Health Sciences and Technology (D-HEST) at ETH Zurich, where she is also a Professor of Exercise and Health. Her laboratory focuses its research on investigating how endothelial cells rewire their metabolism during angiogenesis and how endothelial cells metabolically communicate with other cell types in their microenvironment to maintain or establish organ homeostasis.
